Actually, "Definite" this early does not really mean "definite" -- it means "I will probably be there but who the heck knows what will happen between now and Dec 11?"
I live across the street from Lebanon and everybody and his brother is talking about another war. I can't swear that I will make it to NYC in December.
(For that matter, given my smoking, my love of bacon cheeseburgers, and the fact that I had a quadruple by pass several years ago, and the insanity of drivers on Israeli roads, I can't even swear that I will make it to December, much less to NYC.)
