I don't know if the in-stock inventory situation has improved by now, but when I got mine a couple weeks ago on a visit to the US, it was pretty difficult to find them in stock. I kept checking on Staples' website to see which stores showed "in stock". I'd then call them in the morning when they first opened. They'd usually tell me that they just got one or two in the previous evening, and so I'd rush down to the store. But each time, they had been sold by the time I got there. I finally ended up buying one online at radioshack.com and had it express shipped to where I was staying.
