Comair vs Kulula in South Africa

I need to book 2 flights in South Africa around New Year's. JNB-DUR and DUR-PLZ. 3 passengers traveling.

DUR-PLZ will definitely be on BA/Comair since it is one of only two non-stop options. But right now, if I book the JNB-DUR segment separately on Kulula/Comair I will save 251 ZAR/per person ($90 USD total) vs. putting both flights under one ticket on British Airways.

Just wanted to confirm I understand the differences.

Baggage Allowance: I think my baggage allowance will be slightly better on BA vs. Kulula (1 piece/person at 23 kg vs. 20 kg) to start with. But no extra bag on BA as a Oneworld Ruby member (we may have a 4th bag). Also, since I am flying to/from South Africa in J we may have at least one bag that is closer to 32 kg. On Kulula I think that will only cost me 200 ZAR (if paid in advance) vs 500+ ZAR on BA (the local equivalent of 40 GBP).

Check-in: I might get to use a priority check-in line if BA/Comair has those in JNB and DUR. I hear Kulula check-in can be chaotic.

Miles: The three of us will earn miles for the 2 flights, which helps offset the $90 difference in price.

Anything else I should consider?

Mods - realized the title of my post should be British Airways vs. Kulula in South Africa!
