Sure. What is confusing is that I can earn MileagePlus miles on an Airlink flight, but I cannot use MileagePlus miles to book an award on the same Airlink flight. That is different than United Express on which I can earn miles and book awards using MileagePlus.

I only learned this through experience and I cannot find any clear explanation on United's site about the rules on Airways/Airlink flights hence my question about the possibility (admittedly unlikely) of earning miles on a LAM operated codeshare.
