From all my experience ex-JFK, they do have both business and first/*G/other VIP counters (first counter right after you enter the terminal, in between LH check-in and LH ticket counters). As for security, I agree with the above, the center line is the sort-of-fast-line although it gets your ahead of the line only until the TSA guy where he/she checks your travel doc/ID, it's then up to you as to which scanner you prefer.
