Frankly, I would not book these in SE Asia since other brands (especially in Bangkok --> HI Silom and Sukhumvit) are also rather cheap.
In Europe, HIX sometimes offer great value (esp. in expensive cities like London e.g.)
I didn't expect much, I got less. BTW: HI Suk doesn't open until mid-Q4 so it's irrelevant.
If I prepay for a queen room I don't want a double/full bed. How difficult is that to understand?
