I flew NRT - HNL earlier this year on the older business class.
Not as good as the current BA product and significantly worse than CX.
Service was very slow due to the Japanese level of attention given to each passenger. Everyone received individual service one at a time.
Meal was tray presented (very nice I have to say) but as noted above all at one time.
Lights were kept on for nearly 3 hours on an 11pm departure.
Things may vary on other routes but I won't be flying them voluntarily again
