There is a findable link on the internet for a direct Accor Club platinum level for new accounts if you are an Amex Plat holder (including U.S.)

Turns out, the registration via link does not actually verify you are an Amex Plat holder.
Which is a ^ or depending on how you feel as an Amex Plat holder.
