Mine is 2 years old and I can make it through an entire day on a single charge. And that is with location services. I check for email every 15 min in lieu of using push email and I've turned off a bunch of unneeded notifications as I read that polling for those could consume battery.

Anyhow, I'm really impressed w/ my new Nexus 7 and will wait to see what the next Nexus Phone is like before deciding on iOS or Android.
