I thoroughly enjoyed our day at the Olympics courtesy of BA! Great seats for the cycling in the morning, a great time in the BA lounge (including guest appearance from Jamie Cullum, who performed a few songs), and then we picked up extra tickets to the GB vs Australia and Argentina vs Spain hockey in the evening!

Pointless going to the Olympic park and spending all your time in a generic BA lounge. Much preferred a cold beer from one of the roaming Heineken vendors, whilst sat in the sun on the grass in Park Live.
It unfortunately ended up raining rather heavily when we were there, so the BA lounge was a welcome alternative to cramming into McDonalds - food and drink much better. The atmosphere in the lounge was also pretty exciting as we were watching Andy Murray win his gold. It was a bit out of the way, though, that much is certainly true!
