I think all the younger guys covet the multi million mile badges and the benefits, but it still represents a very long time spent coming and going and being away from home and the family. An individual I have a working relation with confided that three million miles to and from Asia on Delta the past ten years was just another documented fact his wife's lawyer used to press their points in negotiation. Children don't get any satisfaction bragging about their Dad's mileage. Too many of us are living to work instead of working to live.
