It is SPG’s policy to provide complimentary lounge access to Platinum members at our hotels worldwide. However, occasionally, hotels may need to limit access to our club lounges to comply with club lounge occupancy limits. In that case, our hotels may restrict Platinum member lounge access at check-in to avoid running into potential over-occupancy issues. If those instances occur, our guidelines are that the hotel must offer the Platinum member some other gesture of goodwill to make up for the lack of lounge access. It is against policy for Platinum members to be offered to buy lounge access at check-in with any form of payment.
