Realistically, the fire marshal does trump all, and there's always the possibility that 150+ platinum rooms 2x occupancy are booked on the same night. I'd fully expect the substitute accommodation to be of equivalent value and convenience, i.e., a F&B credit for daily continental breakfast, evening snacks, and daily beverages.
