So does it common for Hilton to silently change category, after this annual category change?
I noticed "Hampton Inn & Suites Riverside/Corona East" is category 3 now.
It was category 1 when i stayed there about 3 months ago.

It is probably not a big issue for Hilton redemption, cause I'm sure most people only redeem for high-end cat6-7 hilton. Category 6 can only go to 7, and 7 is not gonna go down
But it's surprising nonetheless.
