$50 voucher for getting a chicken meal instead of fish meal.
$150 voucher, when travelling with 2 disabled travellers and was treated rudly by the porters ($50 per passenger all credited to my name).
Full free return ticket for volunterily being bumped off a flight.
A friend of mine got compensation when he was on a flight to JFK where the air conditioning wasn't working and the heat was unbearable, and had to return to TLV.
Regarding that flight with the engine fire, I understand why they are so difficult (not that they are right) as it means compensation for 400 passengers, but my experiance on a invidual basis (although I'm talking about 5-10 years ago) is that for any silly complaint they send you a $50 voucher.
