Ever since I started flying I was told and thought it was 90 min for Domestic and 120 for international(1.5/2). It has worked for me almost every time, and I end up at the lounge/gate much earlier than I thought I would be there...

I don't think I would ever go 3 hours before an intl flight but that's just based on my experiences(Maybe lucky)?
