I think the "official" recommendations, such as they are, don't change. In terms of how early you personally will want to arrive, it depends on the airport, the day/season of travel, and your own personal risk tolerance. I usually aim to arrive at LAX 45 minutes before departure (having checked in online and with only carry-on luggage), knowing there's a small chance I'll miss my flight. Some prefer a larger safety margin.
