So has anyone who signed up for this card had their first statement close yet? I'm curious as to whether all points (and point multipliers) posted correctly, as I remember awhile back people were having issues with Citi not properly posting points on the regular HHonors Visa card.
Also, it would be great if people could report back once they meet the $2,500 spend and the free night "certificates" are issued, as there don't seem to be very many details on the form that they are going to be taking.
My first statement has already closed (oddly just a week or so after the card was issued). The points were credited (correctly) to my HHonors account very quickly. IIRC, this occurred within a couple of days of statement closing. I have hit the $2,500 spend mark, but I imagine that Citi won't even begin to do anything until my next billing cycle closes. It will be interesting to see how quickly these certificates are issued and whether this will be done by e-mail or by receipt of physical certificates by postal mail.
