Strictly speaking, the islands of Britain, Ireland, Man, and the Channel Islands form what is know as the "
Common Travel Area". So it's technically not just domestic (only citizens of those nations are allowed to travel freely in the CTA, nationals of other countries still need to comply with immigration regulations and are subject to immigration control, etc).
