Actually (assuming UA), class of service domestically isn't the important factor. UA does not give admission to its lounges for domestic segments when Qatar Air (or other non-*A) is the international carrier. I've asked this repeatedly but fortunately I have an LH * Gold card that gets me in.
Do you have a membership or non-USA Star Alliance Gold status that will get you into the UA lounge at IAD? You can buy a day pass for the UA lounge if you really want to get in.
I will be flying IAD-BOS via UA F, so getting in the United lounge is not a problem...I just would much prefer the Virgin Clubhouse
I was am scheduled to have a 6.5 hour layover, now I prob want to change it to an earlier flight. Do you think 1hr 40 min is enough to my UA connection from my QR flight?
