My good lady has a club LHR ~ BOs and first LAX ~ LHR coming up soon. She has a AA domestic first booked BOS ~ JFK ~ LAX ( booking class P). She is a blue exec member.Booked direct with AA.We phoned your first and asked about tier points on AA if she would get them as a blue.If she does she will go straight to silver as the transcon is a 210 pointer,with the other points from the trip added together would be more than silver qualification.The long and the short of it was YF didnt know the answer agent got a supervisor who didnt know either and when I asked why was told avios is new and we are unsure what our partners do!
I was taken back a bit as I wasnt expecting that,now I am perplexed as I assumed she would get the points?
I am hoping you good people will know the answer
