This may not be the right place to say this - but what I would love in the present "can do" spirit that pervades the country is for a place to be found where the new Great Ormond St hospital can be built. The present one if falling apart and if the money and the spirit can be harnessed, I just think that a flame of excellence could be lit for the most important asset we possess. Our children. I mean children from all over the world. The hospital was part of the opening ceremony, it is one of the greatest children's hospitals in the world.

It might not be so glitzy, but this would last for a very long time to come. It would mean changing the rules of the Lottery Funds but then if we cannot invest in the future we are doomed.
