I, like many of you, am a big fan of the ability to refer others to the SPG AMEX and get a 5K bonus (10K biz?) posted to my account for each successful applicant. Does anyone know why the SPG AMEXis the only CC to offer this approach? If Chase, BoA, Citi, etc. offered this option on their cards I would certainly take advantage as it would mean 10s of thousands of points just for the applications that I currently do for my wife/family. Has a serious request been made of other companies to offer something similar?
