I think there was a big Save SkyMiles campaign a few years ago, too.
Don't remember what the changes were, but I think both movements were ultimately successful. Sometimes, companies do listen to their customers if they can be convinced that it's more profitable to do that. Sadly, AS seems to have decided it's more profitable to ignore their biggest advocates.
