NW certainly had its shortcomings, but it was
decades ahead of Delta in realizing the value of, and ROI on, having a customer-friendly web interface and a
functional booking engine.
To COBDAUA's credit, they bit the bullet upfront and went with CO's superior customer facing systems. I can
seamlessly book a TG award flight on UA.COM; good luck trying to redeem your pesos with VN on Delta.dumb.
Almost 5 years after the anschulss, and despite what Bob Kupbens may posit, DL's IT is still crap.
