I don't see why it will help either way, I was merely trying to understand what they'd booked when I asked. I am yet to be shown any rules that permit access in this situation (lounge agents "being nice" or "turning a blind eye" from some other thread is not a rule). It's not a same-day connection, which is what definitely does permit access.
