just been reading thread after thread with comments on the different classes some for and some anti WT, WT+, CW & 1st. .The wine, the food, the service, the bed the AV and .the get off first position all seem to count for different folks.

What is it that really makes First Class the one you want and aim for instead of CW and how do you normally go about getting it?

For me it's a combination of three things. .Lack of stress due to the overall package of Lounge and boarding experience and onboard treatment. .A comfortable bed/seat to sleep in and getting off first to get out of the hell hole (Airport) we land in.

I don't pay for 1st as I am not loaded, my normal way is to book CW and try for a cash Airport Upgrade, unless I am buying an AVIOS flight in which case I book 1st
