I can't see any benefit whatsoever of the AA 5-Star Sevice at JFK for your itinerary. While you do have to pass through security again at BA's T7 at JFK, I'd wager that that step could not be entirely avoided even if you pony up the money for the 5-Star Service. The T7 security for J and F passengers is typically very quick and painless.
