Last time I did arrived at JFK on AA (a Domestic US flight) to connect to a BA flight to LHR I was assured that there were no airside transfers AA > BA at JFK. Would love to know if this is actually the case!

Exit the AA terminal, take the Airtrain to the BA terminal, walk up BA's First check-in desk, there shouldn't be a queue, and they will likely escort you to the dedicated security line, once you're through it's only a few steps to the CCR from there.
