I didn't know if security and customs were long in this area so I was tempted to use the flagship 5 star service(they said i can since one leg is on AA) at JFK to skip allthe lines but i have no idea if its difficult or not

Since you're flying out of JFK on BA, I do not think AA's 5 Star Service is applicable to getting you past security at Terminal 7.

The United States does not have internal customs controls amongst the 50 states.
