I also had a weird experience. RBC put my card under a different BA number but BA had no record of that number being a valid BA number, even after the first statement had posted! I had to get RBC involved to sort it out. Everything is now posting correctly and I did receive the initial 15,000 bonus.

I reached the $5000 spend requirement on my first statement and am also still waiting for the 35,000 bonus. The terms provide that this bonus will be awarded within 10 weeks (I am assuming this means within 10 weeks of the $5000 spend posting to BA) and I'm not quite there yet.
