Didn't realize I needed 20. Thought it was increments of 4. That makes the decison all the easier. I think I will do the extra 4 (12 total) for the 10,000 though, as it will net me 12,000+ miles for a couple of hundred bucks.

As far as reward seats go, I have always had good luck, even to MIA in Feb, I don't mind planning 6 months in advance for a trip.Only ever got burned trying to get a ywg yyz and a fellow ft'er helped me out with that.

I will probably use the 25,000+K miles ( and those in my account) for 2 YQT-LGA with a stopover in YUL to see family.

Lots of availability on that route.
