Due to an unusually high call volume...

I just tried to call the Delta Medallion line and before being asked to enter my number got a message saying that due to an unusually high call volume, I should expect hold times of over an hour.

Anybody have any idea what's going on to cause such a long hold time?

I checked the FAA Delay Map and everything is green across the country.

My call isn't urgent, travel is in about 4 weeks, so I'll wait and call back. I was just curious...
