You are supposed to be at the gate 15 minutes prior, I believe.

Since your connection delay was not weather, you may be owed some compensation. Suggest you call the customer service center number in ATL, if you were significantly delayed by the missed connection.

(Good to see another HSV flier on board. I just watched one of the final AirTran flights climb out over my house.)
