BA's Avios can be frustrating with the typical limited availability of awards and big fuel surcharges, but today I have nothing but love for BA.

For next June, I booked 3 one-way SFO-LHR-EDI tickets in F (coach for the LHR-EDI portion, of course). US$1,100 plus 37,500 Avios points for each. That to me is a very good deal -- about 2x a discounted coach fare plus the points for F.

Just thought I'd pass this along for those looking to book similar deals. Keep looking -- there's hope.
