To add I did today watch one of those boarder patrol shows and it was in new Zealand . The first case two Indian travelers had bags of food I mean it covered the counter. They got a written warning and everything thrown out. The second chap an American from hawaii had a few avocados in his bag which he brang from overseas and didn't declare. Maybe it's time you started to take responsibility for your actions. You would probably have also gotten off with a warning or the like but as soon as you start giving them a bit of lip you have set yourself in their sights.
