Well, the Delta AMEX card carries a foreign transaction fee. I would still go with my initial recommendations:
Chase Sapphire Preferred card:
40K signup bonus
2x points on travel and dining
7% bonus at the end of every card member year
No FTF
Transfer points to UA, BA, WN, Hyatt, etc, or redeem 1:1 for cash, or redeem at a bonus rate for travel/airfare through UR's program.
AMEX Plat:
Lounge access
MR points transfer to Delta
No FTF
