You will need 80,000 miles in Economy, 135,000 miles in Business and 210,000 miles in First, plus taxes and surcharges between ORD and BKK. One way awards will cost 50%.
With your stated miles tarriffs, does it make any difference if the traveller goes West, or goes East ( N America -> FRA/MUC -> BKK )?
