I thought my journey to the airport was going too well today 1.30 mins from Croydon to the lift outside HMV in T5 - everything worked a treat. Then the problem started - lift came and had it all to myself. Pressed for floor two, doors closed, lift moved and then ground to a halt. Luckily the lights stayed on! I have always wanted to press the emergency alarm in a lift and my dream came true! Fortunately was only trapped for about 20 mins before they brought the lift back to floor 3.

Not sure how many people this has happened to on FT? After pressing the alarm the control centre stayed in touch and a BAA representative was waiting to meet me when the doors opened to make sure I was ok. Funnily, there were no H+S papers to fill out!

Now in GF enjoying (I think) my well earned glass of champagne!
