Saudi Arabia doesn't allow alcohol to be served on all flights inbound into the kingdom. For all outgoing flights alcohol service can only be served once flight is out of Saudi Arabian airspace.

Saudi immigration is absolutely crappy. However, it has taken me less time to clear immigration at dammam than it took me to clear immigration at lhr.
However their clearance rate per person is really crappy. If unfortunately you are labour going to work there, immigration first time is known to take upto 12 hours.

The departure terminal at Jeddah is one place I never wish to be. But because of the shear amount of people going through their terminals and absolutely little space given to airlines, everyone manages with whatever is available.

Yes that lounge looks damn pretty and the restaurant/food court outside is damn depressing.

Air India on some flights have some really amazing food service, and on some flights it is so disgusting it is difficult to believe that it is the same airline.
