I have been PM for approx 10 years but this year has been a little slow and will struggle to make GM. Not a big deal. But i was thinking that if i did not make it there, i may lose my desire to choose DL first. Then i started thinking that maybe a better barometer to be used for medallion is a certain time period (say 3-5 years) and take the average per year flying to see if a person in my similar position should still be entitled to the benefits. It would keep these people more loyal and a little less to leave to a competitior and it will also keep the benefits available to the flyer. A win-win in my opinion. I would be curious of opinions of others.
