Since you have paid for an e+ seat, you can change your e+ seat to any other e+ seat if one opens up at no cost so with that, periodically check the seat map on your flight between now and the time the upgrade window opens up as if someone in e+ had their upgrade clear, you can grab that seat but then once the upgrade window opens, check daily (and multiple times during the day) for the same thing. Then check at OLCI, then use with one of the chickens at the airport and finally with the gate agent.

It used to be that all E+ seats were the same cost..not anymore. You'll only be able to assign yourself to an E+ seat that costs the same or less than the one you paid for. On board the plane they haven't moved to enforcement of that so if something is open and you're already in E+ you'd likely be able to move.
