So, I flew the itinerary yesterday, and the E+ seat assignment stuck. At OLCI, I was given the option to buy up to F for $249, or to purchase E+ for $39. But, my 9C assignment remained after declining purchase options, and everything went smoothly.

Now, the failure of DEN catering to provide plastic flatware in Y for the BOB meals is another story...
