Well, after much trying and failing, I tried to book flights for much later in the year, November. There weren't any business awards, so I tried for economy, and using the KVS tool, i found availability for Nov. 9th to the 19th, from JFK to LIM. Checked the BA website, and the dates showed as available. Everything looked fine until the very last part of the transaction, when i would get the message 'the tickets were sold during your transaction'. I've tried this several times over the course of the last week with the same results. I tried calling up the executive club line, and they say the availability isn't there, that it's a computer problem. But.. this makes the BA website itself impossible to use!! If I can't even trust availability that the BA website shows how the heck am I supposed to find dates? Is there someone at BA who can fix this or at least explain to me how to find availability accurately?
