When I went to Vegas a month or 2 ago, on the "Electric Daisy Carnival Express" as the captain kept saying we were circling for about 40 minutes prior to landing because there weren't any spots for us to land on the ground and once we finally landed people let out an applause of excitement and almost everyone thanked the captain upon exiting the aircraft.
