It's worth signing up for 15K miles. Just keep an eye on your bill and be ready to switch back if they jack up the rate. Let's say you value AA miles at 1c each. Even if you pay Energy Plus an extra 2c / kWh for 3 months, and you use 1000 kWh / month, it will cost you $60 to earn $150 worth of miles. Still worth it.
