Yep OP if you are trying to figure a way to pocket the $200 you wont be able to, as what the eCerts do is reduce the base fare and no mention is seen of the original fare before the cert is used
Unless you purchase 2 separarte tkts and hand in the 1 w/o using the cert and CX that fly with the tkt where you applied the cert.Personally I wouldnt go down this route but it should do the trick
