The published rules notwithstanding, you are allowed a stopover (along a valid routing) and an open jaw (provided the unflown portion is shorter than the two flown portions). You should have no problem booking your proposed award ticket. If I can get OMA-SLC-LAX-ICN-AKL//HKG-PVG(stop)-NRT-ATL-OMA and FRA-ICN-MEL//SYD-KUL-LHR(stop)-AMS-FRA ticketed for 135K and 150K miles respectively, I don't think JFK-CDG(stop)-NCE//FCO-AMS/CDG-JFK will be a problem at 100K (provided inventory exists). Don't overlook AZ on FCO-JFK. Their new Magnifica class gets nice reviews.
