OP, going through MIA is the best option, try and get global entry for the way back as I always have had long lines in MIA coming back.
I'd like to see HNL & SLC. The skiing in Utah is fantastic and the access to Zion's national park as well, although this can be done from the LAS flight as well. Perhaps a 767 would work on this route.
Chances of this happening? Next to nothing.
