What prompted the press release is the actual launch of the HDFC Jet Branded credit card with the required details. The key features of the top end "World" Card:

1) Rs 2499 annual memebership fee
2) 5000 JP Miles on first spend in 90 days
3) Another 5000 miles on spends in excess of 75k in 90 days
4) 1 complimentary ticket (base fare)
5) 6 miles for Rs 150 spend (equal to premier miles at 4 miles per Rs 100 but i guess they think customers are weak at Maths and would get enticed by a greater number)
6) 3X points for spends on Jet Airways
7) (Un)Surprisingly no mention of upgrade vouches
8) Mastercard Platinum lounge access and membership to priority pass, no mention of access to Jet Airways lounges
